Stephen King wishes Hulu had given Castle Rock another chance to find it's footing. Rather than adapt a particular tale, Castle Rock drew its inspiration from the fictional town of the same name where many of King's stories are set. Hulu announced the show would not be renewed for season 3 in November, to the disappointment of fans, including King.
