I don't believe the thermostat & water pump are bad I'm not getting any codes & my car stays at normal operation temp. I adjust my climate controls all the way to 84
Today whilst driving without the A/C on, or the auto on, just manual settings, I seemed to have a problem with the heater/ ventilation. Just using manual control, I had no warmth in the air unless I turned it up to nearly 26 degrees. Anything below this caused condensation on the outside of the windscreen as we travelled along.

2016 bmw x1 Noticing no heat the last couple of days. Its cold and wet in Seattle. Nothing crazy has happened, but the heat just doesnt work. It blows cold air. I saw online with quick search it could be the blower motor or the blower motor resistor. Not sure… it blows strong but just no heat. Just kinda weird.

The easiest way is to remove the steering wheel and compare it to a car that has steering wheel heat. 2. Assuming your X7 is pre-wired for steering wheel heat (and you obtain a heated steering wheel) you will need to get your car coded to "turn on" the steering wheel heat feature in the X7's software. The above steps are somewhat simplified

No. You may have a slight amount of natural circulation of coolant if the engine is hot but I doubt you'd notice it in any way. ii) Does the heater control valve circulate coolant to and from the heater core with the engine off. No. The valve being open will not circulate coolant unless the pump is running.

I just replaced my coolant pump and thermostat in my E92 BMW 320 N43 engine. It is a 4 cylinder variant. The procedure is the same as the written guide but most of the work can be done from the engine bay as 4cyl variants engine block is shorter.Only the two E12 bolt of the pump had to be unscrew from the bottom of the car.
